I'm curious as to what the future holds for the MPLMs. Will they stay attached to ISS after their last use to provide extra space? Will they be scrapped? Or will they have some other use?

Part of your question, about leaving the MPLMs on orbit, was answered by a topic started in relation to the STS-121 mission.

As to what will become of them, I assume that they will eventually become museum exhibits.
