Jeremy Bulloch, the British actor who played the Mandalorian bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original Star Wars films "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi," died today (Dec. 17, 2020). He was 75.In 2014, Bulloch was a guest at the Autographica show in London, where he signed autographs and met with his fans alongside other celebrities and astronauts. He briefly wrote about the experience on his website: There were several astronauts there including Buzz Aldrin and it was fascinating talking to Greg H. Johnson about his experiences in space. He also was a Star Wars fan. |

I had a brief meeting with him at Star Wars Celebration V. It was supposed to be one of those quick autographs at a table for $25. I had a copy of the Target Novel of the Doctor Who story he appeared in. He was thrilled to see something different and signed it "Hal the Archer" which was his character in the story. But he was different, never going behind his table, always out front and interacting with everyone. He truly loved meeting everyone and just was a fantastic and very nice guy. |
