Twenty years ago today, on July 20, 1999, collectSPACE debuted online. Thank you to all of our readers and members for two decades of support and for making the site what it has become today. We've gone some pretty amazing places over the past 20 years. We look forward to where the next 20 will bring us next!  |

Congratulations Robert on a remarkable achievment. I just love this site for its knowledge and respect for everybody. Hopefully I can enjoy it for many more years to come. Thank you. You certainly chose an historical date to start collectSPACE. |

Tous mes voeux pour les prochaines 20 années!I'm happy to be on board since 2003. Collecting wouldn't be the same without cS, the forum is just a fabulous tool. And also thank you for keeping the design of the site like it is. It works so well, no need to change every couple of years like many. |

Congratulations, Robert! I was just thinking yesterday that your cS 20th anniversary was imminent. I agree with the accolades expressed in this thread. And, I am very pleased to see the insignia making appearances in such prominent places. In a small way, it allows me to share in the pride you surely feel in this premier resource and the community you have helped bring together. Happy to be a cSer since 2007 (and a lurker for even longer). |

Like so many others on this forum would agree, collectSPACE has proved a huge influence in our lives, as well as being a wonderful source of space news and information. I can say without any doubt that the Outward Odyssey series would not have progressed the way it did, as so many of those tremendous first-time series authors came to me through their posts on collectSPACE. So with many thanks I salute you, Robert, for your remarkable vision and continuing, tireless hard work that brings so much pleasure, and means so much. Ad Astra! |

Here from the beginning... having changed user names in ‘04 (?). I've been virtually a daily lurker for all 20 years. This site was a space geek’s social media before there was social media. Robert not only put space collecting on the map, he has contributed immensely to documenting the history of manned spaceflight and drawn countless new collectors and history buffs into the community. Thank you everyone, but I share the credit for the past 20 years with all of you! The community here and projects all of you have undertaken over the past two decades have added so much to this site and its focus.Given the concurrence with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, I thought better than to try to schedule anything big this year. But keep your calendars open in July 2024, as the plans for a 25th anniversary celebration are already taking shape. |

WOW, 20 years! Maybe for the 25th we can all meet somewhere for the next moon landing!I can certainty say our Kollection would not be what it is without your help and the help of some many in the cS community, thanks again for all you do! |
