Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood dropped by Mission Control at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston on Thursday (Jun. 29) to speak with — and perform for — Jack Fischer and Peggy Whitson on the International Space Station.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's visit came just four days after Melissa Etheridge and Linda Wallem ("Nurse Jackie") spoke with Jack Fischer and toured Johnson Space Center as well. From Melissa Etheridge on Twitter:
Family trip to NASA, got to talk to NASA astronauts and sing to Jack Fisher. Thanks to Tungsten Flight [Royce Renfrew] for the special tour!
