Issue 1441 of Private Eye records that a new TV advert for SunLife called "Welcome to Life Over 50" includes a section showing a man enjoying zero-gravity in a space capsule. Unfortunately, the soundtrack is taken from one of the last radio transmissions from Challenger before its tragic accident. Oooops!

Does anyone know of any more inappropriate uses of space related material?

Someone had a TV ad mocking the shuttle not getting off the ground, showing one of the aborts where the SSMEs had fired and then shut down.

I thought that was in poor taste as at the end of the ad, they congratulated NASA for the program, showing a shuttle leaving the pad...

All times are CT (US)
