The original "Lost in Space" miniature spaceship, the Gemini 12, was used only in the series pilot and in stock footage over the three years of the show. It was named after the then-current NASA program (the "12" came from the producer's birthday).

Nice video of the restoration. At the start, the narrator/host says the Gemini program included two spacecraft docking together; of course that is incorrect. They only docked with an Agena and only rendezvoused with another Gemini to within a few feet.
