Flash forward 46 years I am clearing out stuff from some old boxes at my mom’s house. I found two wonderful things. A bold and perfect Bill “Anders” signature in green sharpie perfectly placed front and center on the graduation program. Granted the program had been folded perfectly down the middle to fit in my father’s suit pocket at the time. But there it was folded out flat and in otherwise pristine condition tucked away in the house I grew up in for 46 years. It was just the “Anders” part of the name, but it was bold and strong. Included were some news articles from the period about the speech etc. The event took place June 1st 1969.
