Throughout the year I have had dealings and conversations with many of the folks here on cS. So to: Bob, Rick, Robert, Richard, Steve, Bruce, Jason, Bobby, Steve, Florian, Donnis, Chris, and Ken. Many thanks for all your help and generosity in answering my queries and sometimes parting with your treasures. Merry Christmas and Happy Year. May Santa fill your stocking with an abundance of astro-treasures. — Paul Siegel

Happy Winter Solstice to all cSers. By the way - Robert, I like the effect achieved with the logo embedded in the background stars. Well done. |

NOAA/NASA satellite sees holiday lights brightenAround many major U.S. cities, nighttime lights shine 20 to 50 percent brighter during Christmas and New Year's when compared to light output during the rest of the year, as seen in the satellite data. In some Middle Eastern cities, nighttime lights shine more than 50 percent brighter during Ramadan, compared to the rest of the year. Merry Christmas to all! |

Happy Holidays to everyone here on collectSPACE. The wealth of knowledge that I have learned here over the years is immeasurable. I know I should post more, but every time I have a question I am able to search and find my answer here. May you all find that item you are searching for (unless its a crazy-good deal in which I hope I get it first!!).Thank you, Robert, and everyone else here who contributes. |

My daughter gave me a laptop reading light in the shape of a space walking astronaut. You plug it into a USB port to give it electricity. When you move the helmet's outer faceplate from the front to the rear of the head the inner faceplate lights up. |

Not per se, but I did get gift cards that allowed me to get "my necessary" space related items. |

My wife loves jigsaw puzzles, but I don't, so as one of her gifts I got her a space shuttle jigsaw! It's a win-win situation. |

Careful Chris, your pushing your luck! Could be a lose-lose situation but I doubt it as have met your wife and she is very nice and, like my wife, puts up with our obsession with space in a supporting manner.Having just finished reading 'Bold They Rise' my daughter and family have bought me for Christmas its follow up 'Wheels Stop' plus 'Sally Ride'. I'm very lucky and appreciate my family for their thoughtful choice of presents with all of my interests. So plenty of reading for the New Year. |
