Well, since my beloved Green Bay Packers fell into the depths of the frozen tundra's cellar in the NFC this year (4-12, and i'm crying), I wanted to get everyone's pick for the Super Bowl this year..I'm still going to stay with my conference and go with the Bears, albeit most likely the Colts will win it all.. |

Well, for the AFC, my mind tells me to go with the Colts-but with their strong finish I wonder if the Patriots will go. I'm sticking with the Colts as my pick but my gut is saying to go with New England. For the NFC, Im going to say (probably foolishly) that my favorite team the - Carolina Panthers - are going to win the Super Bowl. But then again, I did predict publically that my beloved Oregon Ducks were going to beat Oklahoma in the Holiday Bowl...and they did not-so what do I know. I think that the Colts, New England, or maybe the Seahawks could win. Also, I was totally bummbed when the Ducks lost, if Brady Leaf had but a little more on that pass it would have been a touchdown. Oh well. cheers, Helen |

Living in the Chicago area, I'm a little bias but the Bears defense is tops in the NFL. Defense wins in the playoffs (just like in all sports) and if they didn't play the 2nd and 3rd stringers in the final game they would have set the record for fewest points allowed a the season. That said, Shaun Alexander scares me but I'm hoping that Urlacker will shadow him. Da Bears!!!!!! |

I stuck my head out for the Bears and the Colts in the final... Let's just hope the movie "Heidi" isn't programmed to play too early after it... (HAHA)[This message has been edited by Wehaveliftoff (edited January 07, 2006).] |

It's awfully hard to go against my old favorite Manchester United-whoops wrong Football. For us Americans, I see Seattle or Indianapolis or "da Bears"(Chicago) in the Super Bowl. My hope; "da Bears". By the way, I'm amazed how how this how caught on with some of my European friends. Back in about 2000 when Quagterback John Elway and Denver Broncos beat the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl, I was working with a couple of Engineers from Linde in Munich, Germany. Both were fans, but especially one who was actually fron Prague. He said he'd watch live games in Europe in the wee hours and was very knowledgeable. |

I didn't want to stick out my neck earlier, but since the Broncos haven't gotten any respect(And I'm a long time fan from the 70's),I say now since the Colts are out of the way that the Broncos go all the way. |

Well... as someone in Charlotte, NC... I'm not quite sure where the Panthers from this season were last night... but they weren't in Seattle. Everyone here today was really baffled as to what in the heck that was all about! It was really cool a couple of years ago when they went to the Super Bowl... and I am glad Seattle is getting to experience that now... No preference on winner... and I usually don't watch the Super Bowl... so I'll just find something nice to read... On to next year. Mark

..sometimes that's even harder than picking all the winners. Congrats to all you "Towel Wavers" out there.. and Congrats to Ben and the "Bus"..You promised him a title last year after you played so poorly in the playoffs Mr. Rothlesberger, so you and the rest of the Steelers delivered on that promise..Jerome Bettis, one of the nicest guys in the NFL is a Super Bowl Champion!! |
