Today marks the one year anniversary of Bush's announcement of the Vision for Space Exploration. http://www1.nasa.gov/missions/solarsystem/vision_1yearlater.html ------------------ http://allthese worlds.hatbag.net/space.php "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972 |

NASA's video "ads" FOR GOING BACK TO THE MOON & FOR BRINGING HUMANS TO THE SURFACE OF MARS are wonderful! Loved them since the first one combining The President with computer animations, and the one with Neil that Paul B pointed out. So thanks David. NOW, WITH THE LINK YOU GAVE THESE VIDEOS ARE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND. I don't think we need to buy this talk that, as someone provided a post about, China's backing down could reduce the intiative. Anyway, its like that history term "manifest destiny." If this old world endures, WE'RE BOUND TO GO TO THE MOON & MARS. By the way, David, did you see the slick color photo of the Huntsville Center at the "KSC images" post in Free Space here? Its great. | |
