I have had an interesting dialogue with Kim Poor about Novaspace's Astro-Auction on-line.I noted that there are a limited number of sellers, that the opening bids are at the higher end of going prices, and that there is less variety. IMO, Kim's auction is more like a retail store with high-quality, guaranteed items at retail prices, while e-bay is like a flea market with anything ranging from junk to a "diamond in the rough." What do you think? (By the way, I have the utmost respect for Kim and Novaspace-- they're the best!) David |

Hi David,I think you got it just about right. Of course, we all know the disadvantages of Ebay, but there are many GOOD (i.e., authentic) bargains to be had - - you just have to be nimble and careful. Novaspace is great, especially if you want a worry free purchase. -Chet | |
