At 8.52 this evening we were treated to a wonderful view of the Station passing over Ireland. On a beautiful clear night we saw her blaze in from the west, below the moon and head towards Jubiter and dissappear in the east.We are very lucky here in Ireland as on a number of times last year we were able to see the shuttle around 25 minutes after launch with the Tank tumbling behind.I hope the worst is behind Nasa and they are back in space before to long, maybe early 2004.We have 4 more oppertunities to see the ISS hope this Weather keeps up for us,today was in the high 70s All the best from the Irish Guy! |

Hi,I and 100+ others at our observing night on Sat. saw a 4min. pass, everyone was trying on my orlan, sokol gloves, admiring my coveralls, and saying,"it,s one thing to see spaceflight on the tv,but here it is in front of you!" A lot had never heard of Buran, others wondered why Irwin hadn,t visited his "native" N.Ireland recently(!!!) Then I saw the even better pass you described. Will be sending you photos of me at my 4 events so far, just booked my flight for Autographica!
