One of the CSM photos posted is also on page 96 in NASA SP-404. That section mentions the discoloration observed on the external surfaces of Skylab.

The NASA HSF gallery is posting a bunch of new high-res Skylab photos. No new Skylab 4 photos yet.

There are pictures of Skylab III EVAs? I have seen several from Skylab II missions, but very few from Skylab III; why?

NASA don't have yet released all material on Skylab?

(For Skylab III I mean the third and final mission.)

Editor's note: Threads merged.

Compare the two similar views of Jack Lousma in Skylab photos SL3-115-1833 and SL3-117-2099. Magazine 115 was taken with the 70mm Hasselblad camera, and Magazine 117 was taken with the 35mm Nikon camera.

There is this image with the caption "Weitz performing extravehicular activity" in Chapter 5 of NASA SP-400 "Skylab, Our First Space Station."

Skylab EVA photo SL2-100-799 has this caption:
This medium close-up view shows astronauts Charles Conrad, commander for Skylab 2, and Science Pilot Joseph P. Kerwin performing an extravehicular activity (EVA) to repair the damaged and partially deployed solar array system on the Skylab complex. The photo was taken from inside the Orbital Workshop (OWS) by astronaut Paul J. Weitz, pilot.
Who is who in the photo?

I have a copy of the shot in my collection from the Skylab book that is signed by Weitz. I always wondered if it was red tinged due to Skylab going into Earth's shadow or a reflection from the parasol or something?

Second shot on this page.

EVA photo S73-27562 is Kerwin, according to the caption. The live TV transmission of the EVA seems to indicate that is Conrad.

So if that is Conrad, then I would say that Conrad is the EVA astronaut facing the camera in SL2-100-799.

Skylab EVA photo SL3-118-2179 is identified as Bean in the index, but that looks like Garriott to me.

On the Skylab EVAs, some astronauts had a cover over their waist-mounted Pressure Control Unit, and some did not.
