I thought I read it was before the undocking for lunar landing but I am not sure.
LM-12 Member Posts: 675 From: Ontario, Canada Registered: Oct 2010	posted 03-03-2013 03:48 PM The service module Scientific Instrument Module door was jettisoned about 4 hours before the spacecraft entered lunar orbit. 15-SCOTT: Felt a little shudder, but not too much. 16-YOUNG: Okay Houston, that was a pretty good bang. 17-EVANS: Boy, we got a good bang out of it. You could hear that - that pyro going, I think.
