Quoting FD Krantz from this CS News Item: quote: "I would also liked to have obtained the Flight Director Logs from our missions but we got into a battle with NASA legal that said they were government property," recounts Kranz. "They have subsequently been lost."
As a manuscript and annotated documentation collector, this news put a damper on my joyful anticipation of FarthestReaches' upcoming offering of such items... François, from Montréal [This message has been edited by music_space (edited December 12, 2005).] |

If these are anywhere I'll bet they are in the 1000 cubic feet of material sitting at the National Archives... this stuff is from JSC late 60's early 70's and has not been processed, therefore is not yet accessable, but I'll bet it contains some gems.... Mark |

It's unfortunate that the logs appear to be lost, but don't let that put a damper on your anticipation of round 2 of the Kranz Artifact Sale. I assure you that there is a wealth of NASA "paper" in Gene's archives and expect you'll see some material in Part Deux, to make you stand up and take notice and notice and notice....
