Fifty years ago, I bought these two covers from Rose Staco in Buda, Texas (I later found out that Rose was a man, whose name I don't recall at this time).

There are a few of you space guys out there who are pretty good with astronaut signatures and I'd like to get your opinion on these. I've been debating myself up and down on them for years and have never shown them to anyone before.

Oh dear; I think once some of our signature experts see these they will come to the same conclusion as me - I believe they are all forged signatures, and not very good forgeries at that.

For sure, no question about it.

Rose was either an honest seller and bad judge of astronaut autographs, or a very bad forger. I kind of go for the latter.

None of those match the original autographs of these astronauts that I have, in my opinion. Sorry.

Not to pile on, but just to show additional consensus: definitely forgeries.

“W.W. Schirra”? What is that supposed to be “Walter Wally”?

Shameful.

Seems to me my brother bought two similar covers back in the 80s from Rose Staco that later turned out to all be fake autographs.

Thanks for all the replies. I believed that they were bad but just hid the cover away for 50 years to see if I could have been wrong with my first assessment.
