Please take a look at this cover currently listed on eBay. It is a very rare cover for the short flight of Mercury Redstone-1.

I believe it is one of Charles Riser's covers and is a fake. I don't quite remember this particular cachet but the rest of the cover leads to the conclusion that this cover is a fake. I have not yet informed the seller as I wanted to get other opinions on the cover. But in the end... buyer beware.

This cover does have some ear marks as being a Riser fake. The embossed envelope, even the placement of the hand cancel is similar. I have seen this type of cachet used on fake USS La Salle MOL PRS covers.
