I have a large, old paper item that I would like to have signed by an astronaut. I would like the writing large and bold so it is more visible on this large item, but I'm reluctant to just send a Sharpie since the paper is on the soft and delicate side. I would to avoid the kind of spreading-out, "bleeding" flaw one sometimes sees.Does anyone have a recommendation for a good marker for this? I did some research and saw that these were recommended, but the medium seems a little too thin and the thickest looks hard to write with. |

Just bumping this up in the hopes of a suggestion, since I'd like to mail the item soon. |

Instead of a pen or marker, have you considered a dark pencil...like a #1? It will never bleed or fade. |

I use Pigma Micron pens for drawing and sketching, the ink is archival. They offer a variety of line weights with the thickest being 08. | |
