What is the current value/price for a signed and inscribed copy of Milt Thompson's book "At the Edge of Space"? What have people paid in the past?

Be leery, he only signed very few of them before he died. In fact, I only know of two.

Thank you to both Al and Dennis. Both sent me emails and that led to an interesting discussion and sharing of ideas and facts.

cS is a great place to learn stuff.

Why would he have only signed a few?

Perhaps because he passed away only a year after it was published?

I bought this signed book about 2 weeks ago, I had been looking for one for years, without success.

Both albatron and micropooz helped me and we got a good discussion going. Al told me that the dedication is to Fred Stoliker, he was the Air Force Flight Test Center Technical Director, a Google search tells you more, and I could not be happier with my surprising find.

The X-15 program fascinates me, they did great things so long ago.

I found a signed copy a year or two ago (one of the two Al referred to that he knew). Paid a princely sum for it. $10.

I was shocked to find one. Had casually put it in a search for signed books and it popped up. Had been looking for several years.
