Some are already making fake Alexei Leonov signed items. Does any one ever saw this kind of signature before?

Certainly not authentic in my opinion, even though I have not seen the latest signature pattern during his later retirement.

But this particular style doesn't match the first spacewalker's known later-type signature traits that I am aware of.

During Leonov's first spaceflight in 1965, his autograph was indeed different in some major characteristics.

Absolutely nothing like how his signature should be!

I seriously doubt that Alexei Leonov, being the artist that he is, would have signed this photograph in the way shown. He would have signed sideways in the light-coloured area, and there is no way I'm sure that he would have signed so boldly over the top of all his medals and awards, much in the way that Neil Armstrong would not sign over the American flag. To me, signing over the dark area could also disguise the fact that it is in all probability a very poor forgery.

To me it doesn't even qualify as a fake, it's simply another signature? In rare circumstances I have seen other people signing in Russia over cosmonaut portraits.

By the way, it's not Leonov's wife — she signed quite differently for me here in 2015.
