Is anyone familiar with this metal model of the space shuttle being ferried on a 747? I've been searching for additional information about it online but haven't found anything.

The seller's description states it is from a NASA employee's estate.

These are for sale often on eBay and I have one myself. While it may have come from a NASA employee's estate it does not have an official tie to NASA as far as I could tell.
