I found this link to what appears to be a nice 1/144 scale Space Shuttle model. Looking closely, though, I wonder if they used pictures of the Bandai model, and the actual model as received will look much different. The photos associated with the Reviews at the bottom of the page look a little odd. What do you think? |

Your skepticism is warranted. The website offer is a scam. |

I wonder if it one of the sites that just wants to steal your payment information. Looks like they put a good amount of work into the web site. |

Caveat emptor. I see ads for these every day now on Facebook and Instagram, each day with a new shop name and URL. If it's anything like the knock-off plastic brick Saturn V LUT kits that were flooding my feeds a few weeks ago (Vonado, etc), they're terrible quality and counterfeit to boot. (Vonado stole the plans for their knock off LEGO Saturn V LUT from a LEGO Ideas submission). Customers who did order it received it with missing parts and the parts they did receive were of subpar quality, so I would expect the same for this shuttle model and anything else sold in this manner. Before that it was "collector edition" Star Wars Lightsabers. People who ordered them actually received dollar store plastic light up swords. |

A Saturn V is now making the rounds in ads now. The funny thing is in their promo video they actually show a LEGO Saturn V at the end. |
