Has anyone bought one of these Apollo bungee strap rings? I am tempted to buy one. Grateful if I can have any information you may have.I presume these rings are from an artefact like this one. I have read that these bungee cords were used to secure things in the spacecraft. However, to me, they appear really flimsy for this purpose. Maybe in weightlessness, they were more effective? I also read somewhere, that these were common in both the command module and lunar module. I suppose it is impossible to tell if these rings belonged to something from the lunar module. I saw something similar from Skylab. I wonder if the space shuttle also had these bungee cords? Grateful for more information. Thank you. |

I don't know much about this item, but I can tell you that the seller, Florian, is very reputable. If he says it was flown, it was flown. |

Sorry, I did not mean to imply that I distrust Florian. Rather does anyone know more about this artefact. |

Thank you very much. Seeing it like that shows it's not as weak as I imagined! |
