I recently purchased this John Glenn "signed" First Day Cover (FDC), which when I received it looked good, but under magnification it was clearly printed on the envelope at the same time the address was printed (showing colored ink splatter dots). Seller refunded.

Perhaps others already know about this cachet and printed signature. Saw a recent post about printed autographs on covers here and it was that information that made me look more closely at this cover. Glad I did.

So I just wanted to thank the contributors of collectSPACE for the generous amount of information sharing.

I ran into this as well. If it is the same seller I complained that not disclosing that it is a reproduction is little different from fraud.
