Hi folks, what do you think of this Conrad signed index card? Yay or nay?

I don't like the "Jr." but I'm no expert.

That's what I thought too. It doesn't look like a quick signature so I would have thought the Jr should be more typical...

I recently purchased another card from this same collection. The eBay auction includes a photo of the envelope, but on Facebook the seller also shared a photo of the 1964 letter from the Astronaut Office that accompanied the cards (the others were signed by John Glenn [the one I purchased], Ed White and Donn Eisele). The letter doesn't specifically name the astronauts signing, but talks about limiting the number of autographs the office could provide.

In that context, and having absolutely no doubts about the authenticity of the Glenn, I don't see an issue with this Conrad.

Looks to be in my opinion an early or vintage signature of the pioneer astronaut. When Conrad was selected as a Group 2 astronaut in 1962, his signature was consistent of this pattern that I have samples of both on photos, letters, and postal covers.

Thanks to all who have commented, your views are, as always, greatly appreciated. I think I might drop a bid on it!
