I recently came across a binder with nearly 200 B&W photos, all dealing with Project Mercury. These photos are from McDonnell, NASA and a few other providers and flow in a order from construction, preparing capsule/s for delivery to KSC, loading and unloading from transport aircraft, inspection of capsule, building of Little Joe launch facility, preparation for launch and launch and ends with photos of a recovered Mercury capsule that has been damaged.

I am hoping that all you really smart members of cS can help me find out how to get more info on the black numbered NASA photos. Tried all the web sites that I know of without any success. The binder came from a McDonnell employee. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

All times are CT (US)
