I am not a expert but to my eye I would guess this is autopen, based on appearance of lines at the end of ink lay-down.Perhaps a more skilled and recognized judge can also weigh in... |

It looks okay to me and I have a few similar signature patterns like this as well. Dr. Lenoir only had a single autopen signature from NASA that I know of, however, in person autographs of the early scientist astronaut and one-time shuttle flyer do vary somewhat. This longer-type version, I believe, were some of his earlier samples, but in person signatures are usually shortened and many signed as "W B Lenoir." At present, and to the best of my knowledge, I know of no secretarial signatures applied for him. |
