That's a fairly common image Gagarin sent out so I wouldn't outright declare it a fake.

I had several of these cards in the past 20 years and they all have a very "structured" surface make any pen look like drawn as you need to sign slowly. These type of photos weren't really good for signing purposes.

In my opinion the Gagarin here is authentic, but would need to hold this particular photo in my hands.

Florian, I suspect you are seeing the new auction that you are being forwarded to by eBay. I agree that the item that it links to now appears to be authentic.

However, you need to click the "listing" link in the blue bar to see the original item that Dirk was referring to.

This new forwarding feature by eBay has caused much confusion!

Yes, this is the item I was commenting on.

As a policy going forward, I will only comnent on items that have images embedded in the discussion. The automatic forwarding eBay is now using has caused too much confusion and misunderstanding.
