A UK based eBay seller has been listing self-described reproduction Silver Snoopy pins on eBay for a couple of weeks now.They're described as reproductions in plated brass but they have the United Features Syndicate copyright on the backs. I wouldn't have thought NASA or the Peanuts group would be very happy with people churning out fake Silver Snoopy pins but as they're selling one a day at $50 a pop it doesn't look like the seller is going to stop any time soon. |

Isn't there a way to have eBay not allowing listing?

United Features Syndicate would need to file with eBay (or pursue the seller directly), as the owner of the copyright-protected art. |

I just sent an email to E. W. Scripps Co., which owns UFS. We'll see if they do anything about it. |

Fakes/replicas. But they've sold hundreds of dollars' worth and the Peanuts group doesn't seem to care. |

Having just spent a few days with the members of the Peanuts Worldwide staff, I don't think it is a matter of them not caring more than it is an inability to track every item. I'll bring these sales to their attention. |

They've sold one almost every day for the last 2 months. Probably over $1,000 of sales so far. |
