I spotted an item at an auction today (Nov. 12, 2017) reasonably nearby in Maryland. It was a "comfort glove" as worn by Apollo astronauts under their main space suit gloves, labeled "Bean."I use the word "was" from my perspective — even though I bid quite high because of the historical interest and sentimental value I have for Apollo 12, I was beat by someone who called this morning with an absentee bid. Dang. I'd still like to know if anyone can give me any opinions or facts they have about this item. The part number, A7L-103056, matches that of the flown gloves. But I know that's less specific than serial number, and there was no documentation for this glove. Were spares made, meaning this was probably a spare? |

Likely a spare or training version but very nice in any case. Plus some intriguing name tags which look hemmed and/or velcroed.Would be interesting to see what else came from the same collection. |

I have some info on this glove and know who and where it came from. I would love to talk to you to see if we can figure some things out on it. | |
