I'm trying to identify some Russian writing on a cover and would appreciate any help. One image is a postmark which looks to me like it's from Tuva, but I can't identify all the characters around the hub.The second is an address and since I already have a hard time with Cyrillic, handwritten characters adds a whole new level of difficulty for me. The images are on Google Photos. Thanks for your consideration. |

Although the address is written in cyrillic, the letter was sent from Lithuania not from Russia. So the first line is: Lit. SSR, in the second line there is a city Kaunas, street name Kudirkos(?) and in the third line there is 34-9 and the name of the sender. I have no idea what is written on the postmark except SSR (short from USSR) and the word "post" under the pigeon. | |
