This Apollo 11 foil can't be real right?
Came from the estate of a Grumman engineer who worked on the Apollo 11 LM project, it was one of his many souvenirs. Approx 65" X 91". I am not an expert and have no idea of how to tell if it was flown. Has snaps, ports, stc. Perhaps the shape indicates its position on the LM.

It's possible, but I would stay very far away given lack of good provenance. It's also a rather high asking price (especially given said lack of solid provenance).

Improbable as a flown item. It is LM however.

It would be hard to prove if it was ever installed on a LEM or even what mission it might be from.
We have sold several pieces from Lee Brandt, who was the lead tech for Grumman with rock solid provenance and those lots bring a mere fraction of that asking price. The Kapton in our listing was removed on the pad just days before launch but not flown.
