Here is an item I bought years ago at a non-space auction. I've spent some time researching it here and there, but now (full disclosure) I've decided to sell it, and I'm hoping the cS community might be able to supply me with an important detail. It's a large painting portraying the first spacewalk by an American astronaut: Edward H. White II during Gemini IV. The artist, Robert C. Sherry, is best known for painting science-fiction magazine covers in the 1940s. The detail I hope to learn is if this painting was used as illustration art. He was the art director for Link Aviation at the time of Gemini IV, so maybe it was something done in-house for them... or for his own pleasure. But I thought I'd see if anyone has a 1965 magazine lying around with that painting in it. A very long shot, I know, but had to try. Thanks!
