Recently bought a set of thermal tiles. When they arrived, they were neat, but because I wanted to know what they felt like, I touched the black tile and it felt like a cheap, easily-breakable foam. I'm not sure if they're real or not.

There's no COA, but the tiles came with a letter saying they were privately bought from a worker at the Armstrong Research Center. Thanks!

I have both a flown and unflown tile so I just took a look at them and the closest analog I can come up with for the feel of the white portion is that it feels like that foam artificial flowers are put in to hold them. That's at least the tactile feel, they're more brittle than that though.
