I recently bought a piece of John Glenn's Friendship 7 heat shield for $130. It is a triangle 1.5 cm wide and .75 cm tall. It came with a COA too. Just want to know what the value of this fragment is. |

Hello and welcome. The value depends on what the piece is attached to. Is it in an acrylic display or attached to a photograph for instance?Generally these small pieces have collector value, but not so much financial value. They're meant for people who want a connection to the missions without spending thousands of dollars. |

Is this the item you purchased? If so, as a retail item that is still available for sale, at best it would be what you paid. |

Yeah it's attached to paper, and it came from one of the plugs, but it is framed. | |
