I've seen photos signed as Wally Schirra, but not of one signed Walter M Schirra. Yes, I agree the inscription appears to be done in a different hand. Thoughts? The litho appears to vintage, going by the thin paperstock and the typeface of the name at the bottom. |

It's an early vintage Mercury-era signature of Schirra and is in his own handwriting from what I can see. |

Thanks, all! I was looking for a Schirra photo that wasn't too expensive, something different. If it had been a casual (e.g., non-portrait) photo it would have been better, but I too was intrigued by the caption. |
