What's the current value of a moon orbit flown American flag with astronaut provenance? Also a signed surface flown checklist page? Thank you.

I'd say a "it will actually sell" price for them would be around $1500-2000 for the flag (if it's 4x6) and $2500-3000 for the checklist page.

Thanks. Does anyone think the anniversary of the moon landings will bring more exposure and value? Where can you buy these items?

From past experience I can say that a special occasion such as a mission anniversary has no bearing on value. This type of item can be found being sold by several retailers and occasionally auctions.

Wasn't Al Worden selling orbital flown flags through Farthest Reaches for $2600 a pop, and Charlie Duke something similar?

I think Charlie will also include a photo of him with the piece if you ask him.

The American flags are more expensive and harder to find than foreign or state flags.

Charlie Duke has only one flag remaining, a New Jersey flag currently featured on Farthest Reaches.

In addition to farthest Reaches, Nate Sanders also had a lot of Worden's flags too (Worden told me he donated all his state flags, so I think country flags are all you'll find).

Alan Bean may have some of his 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 American flag patches remaining and some larger sized American flags.

All times are CT (US)
