This cut printed "Neil" Armstrong autograph has a JSA authentication.I would not buy it, how about the rest of you guys? |

I wouldn't buy it, but only because I don't think it's worth the asking price (of course, I'm not speaking as a trading card collector).As someone with no skill at analyzing signatures, even if I'm told explicitly what to look at, this is my rule of thumb: forgers are greedy. If they can increase the value without arousing suspicion (such as using standard signatures and full names instead of rushed abbreviations), they most likely will. It's not fool proof, as some forgers are actually smart enough to know that people will think that way and cater towards those markets with less risk, but it's steered me well a solid percentage of the time. ETA: Noticed it was an "after market" unofficial card--removed paragraphs on official card relic sourcing & speculation of JSA rubber stamping. | |
