A while back I bought these two signed books, which I believe to have genuine signatures from Alan Shepard and Jim Lovell. As for the Alan Shepard book, the signature is on a bookplate and it is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity authorized by the United States Historical Society and the United States Space Camp Foundation. As for Jim Lovell's "Lost Moon," the seller indicated that it was signed in person on the 23rd September 2010, in Springfield IL, which also appears under the signature. What do you guys think?

I don't recall ever seeing a bad Jim Lovell book. There's not enough money in them. In a lot of cases, it costs more to get your hands on a nice condition unsigned copy than a nice condition signed one. That doesn't mean some idiots won't try, but, honestly, they're fairly low risk. |

Thanks for your replies guys. Both books are in mint condition and they cost me $45 each. | |
