So I was doing some more digging around and found something I don't remember buying — which is very typical of me. Still, I have a bag of patches from the Astronautics Int'l Corp., which were owned by Alvin Harold Bishop.
In 1965 he joined RCA in Van Nuys CA for the Saturn/Apollo Program where he established a Corporate public relations office for RCAs involvement in the space program. He later manned the public relations office for Cape Canaveral where he coordinated activities in the space related programs occurring in the Southeastern 15 United States.

...later Al continued his relationship in the Apollo program by building a full scale model of the space shuttle and other Apollo equipments in Australia. These were displayed at the 1987 World Design Exposition held in Gifu, Japan.

So the packet states 18 official Apollo patches and further down states "Flown." The valuation of $600,000 would suggest the Flown tag references the contained patches, but the official sticker could very well have referred to something else — who knows. Further, there are only eight patches.

There are no distinguishing marks on the reverse side of the patches and I don't know enough about patches to know if these are even a flown variety of patch.

Does anyone have any information on this, Bishop or Astronautics Int'l Corp? Any information would be helpful.

No, none of the patches were flown and Bishop's Astronautics Int'l Corp. in Vegas was formed by him after he left RCA and the Howard Hughes organization. The key focus of his astronautics company was the commercial production and sales of mostly Apollo mission cloth patches and Apollo matchbook covers during the mid-1970's.
