I was just reading on the web that actual signed Apollo 14 crew photos are hard to find. Is that true? What price range should I expect to pay for such an item? |

They are not exceptionally rare, no. They are definitely less common than a Shepard or Mitchell signed WSS litho, but you still see them around from time to time. They've sold over the years at auction for anywhere from around $1,000 to $2,400, according to RR's past results. To me, those numbers would represent the low and the high; $1,000 for an uninscribed Apollo 14 crew litho in good condition would be a steal (as Shepard's uninscribed WSS generally goes for upwards of $1k and an uninscribed Roosa litho is a tough find as well), but $2,500 would be too high. As always, price is subject to personalization, inscription, condition, etc. |

And you can get crew signed covers or cards for a fraction of that. I picked up an Apollo 14 crew signed 3x5 card last year for about $125 — had some damage on the edges from being affixed to something — but it framed up great with a photo and patch. |

Those estimates seem a bit high to me.I would say that in practice Apollo 14 crew ISPs sell for upwards of $450 although uninscribed versions would fetch more. | |
