I have noticed a recent surge in inscribed Alan Shepard WSS portraits on eBay that have sequential or close PSA/DNA certificate numbers. Some have the same dedicated person. And the main source is a sports dealer. Does anyone else see the red flags?

They also seem secretarial in nature. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Item numbers are as follows: 131551456684, 131551456606, 141712126151 and 361336538745.

Just curious, what about these seem secretarial to you? Unfortunately we can't zoom in, but the first one looks great to me. Outside of the signature itself, the "best," especially the "B," looks like his penmanship. The second, I'm not sure I've ever seen a secretarial with his trademark broken loop between the "S" and "h" like that.

On the third, the inscription actually seems squeezed on the first line so as to not cover up the "1" in the "14" of the mission logo, and although the "Alan" is spaced out a bit I think the whole signature looks fine. And the last, the "best wishes" looks outstanding, even if the loop on the "h" seems to ride high a little bit.

I'm no huge expert, and most of the images are pretty small, but to me all four those all look to be authentic at a cursory glance with actually none of the obvious red flags you'd expect from secretarials.

Thanks for your opinion. Just seemed that a bunch showed up at one time. That's what's great about our forum, we can discuss these issues with no agenda.
