This is one of the worst I have seen in awhile. I think it is signed by Heil Fady, Michael Coloni, and Buzz Aladin.

To call this a forgery would be misleading. No forger would do this shoddy of a job. Chris surely Hall of Shame material.

I see the seller has covered themselves. "I bought this on eBay so there's not a lot I can guarantee..." They know full well it is a fake.

Wouldn't it be nice if they were all this easy?

That's laughable. It's one of the worst ones I've seen.

But... "Noteworthy is the somewhat pointy "A" in Armstrong." Steve did you take down that note? LMAO. I always wanted a Heil Fody of noteworthy quality!

Another fun detail: the full quote is "Noteworthy is the somewhat pointy "A" in Armstrong, which was typical in his autographs prior to his selection as a moonwalker, at which time the rounded helmet-style letter was adopted."

But... the signature, on an Apollo 11 cover, was definitely signed AFTER he was selected "as a moonwalker." He's providing further reasons to doubt its authenticity!

You don't need any reason to doubt its authenticity, you just have to look at the signatures. It was a good find though, to see the discrepancy of the date to his own description however.

I reported it to eBay but it is still there, as usual.

I have to say, having a Heil Fady autograph in your space collection IS quite rare!

Looks like a NASA secretarial as opposed to a recent forgery. I'm no expert on recovery covers, but that looks like a really cool one with autographs of the helicopter pilot and aircraft carrier commander.

Though Shepard secretarials are, in my opinion, pretty obvious, that one is by far the worst I've ever seen if it is one, and an equally pathetic attempt as a forgery. I didn't mean to intimate a conclusion as to which it was, just to share easily one of, if not the, worst attempt(s) I've ever seen at a this particular signature by any party.

Oh, it can always be worse. It could be a rarest of rare... Alem Shedar, LOL. I'm sure there is one out there!
