I've seen on a few websites, signed Apollo models such as the command module. How do I know if they are authentic, some are about $500. Are they the real deal?' |

Depends on the site. I do know of a few companies who have paid astronauts to sign their models, i.e. Charlie Duke, Buzz Aldrin, etc. and they simply sell them on.What sites are you looking at? |

One source for signed models that you can trust without question is the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's store. Toys & Models also has a signature series, such as the Apollo command module signed by Buzz Aldrin or Charlie Duke. |

Silent Thunder Models I just checked out Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's store, the prices seem more reasonable, and I also like the signed space shuttle models.
