I have a photo of an Apollo launch numbered G-69-1575. What mission would this be? Is there a website that will tell me information on serial numbered photos?

Could you post a pic? There were 4 Apollo launches in 1969, so maybe we can narrow it down.

This auction website describes it as Apollo 6.

Thanks for posting the link to that auction site. They don't provide a visual of that photo either, so I'll say that the Apollo 6 mission was the only Saturn V launched that had a white service module. Look for that in the photo, if possible.

Other factors in determining the particular mission pictured are weather conditions, sun angles (time of day), mobile launch platform numbers, and usually the photo number. The 69 prefix in this case pointed me to 1969.

I'll dig through my collection and see if I have that photo.

Apollo 6 launched and landed in 1968.

All times are CT (US)
