These signatures look good to me but I'm relatively new to collecting. Any other opinions? Thanks. eBay 321610549231.

The autographs of Borman and Lovell appear normal and authentic. The Anders autograph is one of many seen with only the single name.

The Anders autograph is the key autograph, as it is with most Apollo 8 crew signed material, since he was an often reluctant and careless signer. Consequently, his autographs, especially these "Anders" examples vary and are inconsistent and are often difficult to authentic but easy to forge.

But considering all that and also after examining the seller's other astronaut autographs, which appear very normal, it's likely that this Anders example is authentic. However it is a somewhat poorer example of his "Anders" scribble.

Also the seller should be contacted concerning the condition of the cover/envelope, as it's a government envelope of poor paper quality and appears to be faded, as many will be of that age.

At a certain point, especially with Bill Anders, it just takes faith.

My theory, which I've seen a few times on here, is that he'd actually go out of his way to keep his signature inconsistent, just to mess with collectors and make it harder to authenticate.

At first glance, looks good to me. I too own a last name autograph of Bill Anders. The seller is legit as I have dealt with them before.

All times are CT (US)
