I'm 99.9% sure this is the autopen but would love to be told otherwise — eBay: 181187504411.

I have already informed the seller that probably all the envelopes are autopen or reprint. Thanks for any opinions.

Yes, autopen.

And the "certificate of authenticity" is not from someone with an impeccable reputation in these matters.

Luigi, I agree with Jürgen, it is an autopen.

Also, be careful when purchasing signed items coming with COAs from that guy (Roberto De Paola of CIFAR). I have seen several autopens deemed authentic by him.

I also tried to contact him, at the address indicated in his COAs, but never succeeded in that. There is no trace of him, here in Rome, and his name is not on the white pages either.

Since he used to issue COAs back in the 70's and 80's, he might have passed away by now, considering that I haven't been able to find him anywhere. Hope this helps!
