For all of you who live in Reno Nevada, here is a great weekend vehicle for sale on eBay.
The LUNAR ROVER VEHICLE
  • Chuck Miller's L.R.V. (Builder of the Red Baron)
  • The Lunar Rover Vehicle (L.R.V.) is the product of years of research for a functional vehicle that could be used for moon travel. The Replica Vehicle was built by reknown artist/car builder Chuck Miller of Detroit, using blueprints and other information supplied by NASA.
  • The Lunar Rover is 10'-2" long, 6'-9" wide, and has a 7'-5" wheel base.
  • This is a static Display Vehicle no motor.
  • Was on display in the HARRAH's Auto Museum Collection
  • This vehicle draws crowds where ever it is displayed.
  • Vehicle is sold "AS-IS" No Warranty or promises otherwise noted.

The LRV has gone to a good home: The W Foundation has acquired it for display in their Space Station museum in Novato, California.

The W Foundation also plans to loan it for display at the USS Hornet Museum.
