If you're interested...Apollo 11 Bullion patch(es). The seller has several to sell. I emailed him asking for the source and the reply was that he's selling them for a man he knows in a nursing home that used to have a store in Cocoa. $32US ($6.60 expedited shipping, for what it's worth). Estimated delivery 17-18 July. Sorry, US only. |

These are from Tom Foley's inventory. Foley had them produced. |

Just wanted to publicly thank George and Gonzo for their generous offers of assistance in securing one of these bullion patches. Fortunately, I quickly had it covered thru another US member, but it's great to know others are happy to lend a hand. Much appreciated guys. |

Two updates. First, the seller has others listed as well, including Apollo 1, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 17, as well as 51-L and STS-107. Second, just to be clear, Tom Foley had Bullion make these, so they ARE Bullion patches, made in the US. Do I have that right? |

Unless I am mistaken, bullion is a term describing a style of patch, generally hand-crafted and incorporating metallic thread. It is not a company or manufacturer. Foley had most of his patches produced overseas, so it wouldn't surprise me if these patches were similarly outsourced. |

Yep, that's my understanding as well. |

As I live in Australia, I can't directly purchase one. However I would be interested in the STS-51L and the STS-107 patches if someone could act as a go between. Thanks. |

Thanks, guys, for the education. Now I know. I've always admired these patches but was always put off by the price. These are CHEAP compared to what I've seen them go for in the past. Hence my purchase. I also just ordered the Apollo 7 to go with the Apollo 11. As far as helping others, that's what I've learned cS is all about and am very grateful for all I've learned and what others have done for me. That being said, that's why I offered to help Mike earlier. I've shipped overseas for others, no reason not to help now. So if anyone wants to buy a patch where the seller won't ship overseas (from the US), drop me an email and maybe I can help! |

Quick update - I received the Apollo 11 patch today. It is absolutely beautiful. If you managed to purchase one of these, you'll know what I mean. It is a very nice patch and I'm glad to add this to my Apollo 11 collection. I'm now looking forward to receiving the Apollo 7 patch I also ordered. |

And for those still following this thread, there were only 100 of them produced of each patch (100 Apollo 11, 100 Apollo 7, 100 51-L, etc.) from what I've found. |

Mike - be patient and watch the listing. The seller has listed this patch three times that I know of. The last time it was listed, if I recall correctly, he had three of them left. (I may be wrong.) But if you don't hear from anyone (likely), you may be able to pick one up from the next listing. And, yes, this a great price for these bullion patches. It's interesting that several have been listed from other sellers for as much as $330 (didn't sell alongside this listing - duh...) I picked up the Apollo 7 as well. |

Mike, you might try to send a question to the seller from ebay asking if he has any more to sell. I did that and he replied that yes and which ones did I want. Unfortunately my circumstances had changed and did not have the funds to buy the ones I wanted but he had them. |

Amongst these bullions I have on file (not necessarily on offer through the same seller(s)) I noticed an Apollo Program patch as well. Thus far, I've come across that patch as well as Apollo 1, Apollo 7, Apollo 8, Apollo 9, Apollo 10, Apollo 11, Apollo 13, Apollo 16 and Apollo 17. They're simply extraordinary. |
