The seller of this very questionable Armstrong is a cS member

cS is shorthand for collectSPACE.

It's good. Not the greatest contrast, though.

I have some serious doubts about this signature that would prevent me from investing in it.

The terrible-looking Walt Cunningham signature the seller is also offering doesn't do anything to lessen those concerns.

So hard to say: the combination of a thick-ish pen and really poor contrast make filtering out some of the key validating traits impossible. if I were the seller I would have posted some contrast-adjusted close-ups so that you can make a better judgement. Without this I'd not bid.

Came across this reprint, which looks exactly the same.

There are a number of these reprint sellers who steal high res images from other ebay auctions, message boards and RR Auction. Irritating bottom feeders.

If you report the auction and provide a link to where it was stolen from, ebay will remove the auction. However, it's like trying to shovel back the tide.

I have my suspicions that not all of these reprints are "stolen". I believe a few buyers of originals copy them to try to recover some cost.

That's not to say that it isn't a pretty "cheap" practice, especially when the fact that it is a reprint is not in the title of the listing, or, as we have seen, the bottom-feeders trying to sell Armstrong reprints for hundreds of dollars.

Reprints are hard enough to tell in person, impossible on cS. I saw this one on a cS member's site. Turned out, the seller was not him. This is why.
